This is my second option for the layout of the double page spread. This layout features the main image in the centre, covering oth the left and the right page. This is effective as this creates a focal point of the artist and is the first thing the reader will notice when looking at the article. The heading and sub-heading will also be placed underneath this image, continuing the focal point and therefore grabbing the attention of the reader. There will be extra artist information in the top left corner of the left page, as this is away from the main text of the interview, therefore seperating itself and making an extra feature of the double page. The text begins in the bottom left of the left page, continuing in colums over to the right hand page. The final column on the right page will have an image within the text, resulting in the text being wrapped around the image. This is effective as it is more visually dynamic and will aid the information in the article.

Double Page Layout 2
